Overview
- The sixth and last procession of 2025 set out at noon from the Monastery of Las Nazarenas, advanced along avenida Tacna, jirón Callao, jirón Chancay and avenida Emancipación, then returned to the sanctuary for the image’s annual repose.
- Thousands of devotees accompanied the Cristo Moreno, with the closing Mass presided over by Lima Archbishop Carlos Castillo before the anda began its route.
- ATU and the National Police executed temporary closures and diversions that altered Metropolitano operations—shuttering Colmena, Jirón de la Unión, Tacna and Castilla—and rerouted services A and C via Alfonso Ugarte and Estación Central.
- Complementary bus corridors adjusted routes: the Blue Corridor detoured via Prolongación Tacna, Francisco Pizarro, Caquetá, Alfonso Ugarte and Nicolás de Piérola, while the Purple Corridor’s 412 service turned back at jirón Virú.
- Authorities deployed more than 1,000 police officers, ambulances and first‑aid brigades, the event streamed live via Canal HN and the Hermandad’s channels, and a PUCP study pegs the anda at roughly 900–990 kg carried by 32 bearers.
