Senior Army Officer Dismissed After Drunken Misconduct

Major General James Roddis receives suspended sentence for indecent conduct towards female colleague during overseas deployment.

Roddis, a decorated officer, admitted to drunkenly touching and kissing a female RAF officer in a karaoke bar.
The incident occurred during the final night of a military delegation's trip to Japan.
Roddis has been dismissed from the Army and sentenced to six months' imprisonment, suspended for two years.
He must also complete 150 hours of unpaid work and pay £2,500 in compensation to the victim.
This marks the second disciplinary action against Roddis for inappropriate behavior towards women.
