Senators name Steve Staios as new president of hockey operations

The Ottawa Senators have appointed Steve Staios as the team's new president of hockey operations.
Staios resigned from his role as special adviser with the Edmonton Oilers to take the new position.
Senators owner Michael Andlauer expressed excitement about Staios joining the organization.
Staios previously served as president and GM of the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs.
Over his NHL playing career, Staios accumulated 220 points in 1,001 games as a defenseman.
