- Despite warmer afternoons, Senamhi warned that mornings will mostly keep winter conditions with low coastal fog and occasional light drizzle in districts near the sea.
- The agency attributed the change to locally warmer sea surface temperatures known as a Niño Costero, combined with incoming northerly winds and a weaker South Pacific anticyclone.
