  • Canary Islands top the list with 14 beaches in the ranking, while Balearic Islands log the highest average monthly search volume at over 460,000.
  • Las Catedrales in Galicia, Malvarrosa in Valencia and Muro in Mallorca emerge as the three most searched beaches, each drawing between 147,000 and 209,000 summer queries.
  • Interest in specialized experiences is rising, with nudist beach searches peaking at 110,000 in August and dog-friendly beach queries up 20.8 percent year-on-year.
  • Online searches for beach gear surged last summer—beach chairs exceeded 99,000 queries, towels topped 50,000 and volleyball equipment neared 49,600—with 246,000 beach queries logged as early as May 2024.
