- Sempra Infrastructure and JERA have finalized a binding 20-year agreement for 1.5 million tonnes per annum of LNG from Port Arthur Phase 2 on a free-on-board basis.
- Port Arthur Phase 2 has secured all key permits and plans to include two liquefaction trains capable of producing about 13 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
- The agreement sets the stage for a final investment decision this year to push Phase 2 into construction and extend U.S. export capacity.
