Semar Ends Plan Marina in Four States, Details Flood Relief Totals

Semar released a consolidated tally that marks the end of the emergency phase.

Overview

  • Operations closed in Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo and San Luis Potosí with 5,735 naval personnel, 15 emergency brigades and seven command posts supporting 22 municipalities and 49 communities.
  • Across the multi-state response, authorities reported 14,722 people evacuated, 28,493 medical attentions, 276 aerial operations, 86 air evacuations and five maritime bridges.
  • In Veracruz, 4,046 naval personnel assisted 12,737 people, carried out 9,641 transfers to shelters and conducted 71 air evacuations in high-risk areas.
  • Direct aid deliveries included 110,554 food parcels, 133,840 hot meals, 119,530 liters of treated water and 276,946 liters of bottled water, supported by 70 citizen-run collection centers.
  • The Navy deployed 112 vehicles, eight planes, 10 helicopters, seven ships, 10 drones, six water-purification plants, nine mobile kitchens, 131 heavy machines and 20 boats, while cleanup crews cleared 1,766 roads and removed 181,273 cubic meters of debris and 6,902 fallen trees and billboards.
