Selina Freitag won silver in the individual normal hill ski jumping event, marking her first solo medal at a major championship.
The 23-year-old from Saxony delivered jumps of 99 and 103.5 meters, finishing behind Slovenia's Nika Prevc and ahead of Norway's Eirin Maria Kvandal.
Germany's mixed Nordic combined team, consisting of Vinzenz Geiger, Julian Schmid, Jenny Nowak, and Nathalie Armbruster, also claimed silver, unable to surpass the dominant Norwegian team.
Freitag's medal comes after a challenging season, including a significant crash in December, and highlights her advocacy for gender equality in the sport.
The competition was marred by a severe knee injury to German ski jumper Luisa Görlich during qualification, forcing her withdrawal from the championships.
