The singer and actress made an unannounced visit during the Telluride Film Festival after spotting a fan-made sign.

Gomez was in Telluride for the U.S. debut of her film 'Emilia Pérez'.
A bright orange sign invited her to sing the National Anthem at a volleyball game.
She did not sing but interacted with students, signed autographs, and took photos.
The visit was Gomez's first time in Telluride, Colorado.
'Emilia Pérez' received acclaim at Cannes and will be on Netflix in November.
