SEGA's Iconic Shinobi Franchise Set for Hollywood Adaptation

Universal Pictures teams up with director Sam Hargrave to bring the classic ninja game Shinobi to the big screen.

Shinobi, a beloved SEGA arcade game from 1987, is being adapted into a live-action film directed by Sam Hargrave.
The screenplay will be penned by Ken Kobayashi, known for his work on 'Sunny' and 'Move On'.
Sega's Toru Nakahara will produce the film, continuing his role in adapting SEGA's properties for film and TV.
The Shinobi series, featuring protagonist Joe Musashi, has sold over 5 million copies worldwide and spans 14 games.
