SEGA Reveals Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties for Feb. 12, 2026 Launch on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2 and PC

The remake rebuilds 2009’s Yakuza 3 in the Dragon Engine with a bundled Yoshitaka Mine prequel.

Overview

  • Digital pre-orders are live, with a $59.99 standard edition and a $74.99 Digital Deluxe edition that adds outfit, character, customization and music packs.
  • Kiwami 3 is a ground-up Dragon Engine remake featuring revamped Okinawa and Kamurocho, added story scenes, new minigames, and overhauled combat.
  • Kiryu can switch between Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami and the new weapon-focused Ryukyu Style, with modes and activities including Dragon Boost, Life at Morning Glory, and Legendary Baddie: Bad Boy Dragon.
  • Dark Ties is an included separate game starring Yoshitaka Mine in Kamurocho, featuring boxing-based combat, a Dark Awakening state, Hells Arena, and Kanda Damage Control, and it can be selected from the start menu.
  • The release includes Japanese and English voice options with an updated cast, and arrives alongside a broader rollout that brings Kiwami 1 & 2 and Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut to current platforms in late 2025.
