  • The annual National Military Service lottery will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 30 across municipal and mayoral recruitment boards nationwide in coordination with military recruitment offices.
  • In Sonora, the event originally slated for Nov. 9 has been moved to Sunday, Nov. 23 from 08:00 to 13:00 at three sites: VI Naval Region facilities in Guaymas, the Manuel Lira García Municipal Gym in Cajeme, and Plaza Alonso Vidal in Hermosillo.
  • Participants from the 2007 class and remisos must report to the same local board where they processed their Military Service Identity Card in 2025.
  • The drawing uses white, blue, or black balls to determine whether service will be encuadrado or a disponibilidad, following established procedures.
  • SEDENA reminds the public that the initial card issuance is free and not conducted via social media, provides the SMN help line 55-55-80-52-37, and refers inquiries to recruitment offices in the 48 Military Zones; women may register voluntarily in early January 2026.
