Sedapal Sets Monday Water Outages for Surco and Puente Piedra as Maintenance Rolls On in Lima

Sedapal says the temporary suspensions support reservoir cleaning to improve service quality.

Overview

  • On Monday, November 10, Santiago de Surco will see a planned shutdown from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Los Álamos and adjacent Monterrico sectors for reservoir cleaning.
  • Puente Piedra’s P.J. Laderas de Chillón (first esplanade) is scheduled to be without service from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the same maintenance purpose.
  • On Sunday, November 9, programmed suspensions affected parts of Ate, San Juan de Miraflores, Lurín, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Martín de Porres, Villa El Salvador, Comas and Villa María del Triunfo in defined time windows.
  • Sedapal emphasizes that interruptions are limited to specific zones rather than entire districts, with service returning progressively as work advances.
  • To mitigate impacts, the utility has deployed tanker trucks and advises residents to store water, use it rationally, avoid unnecessary tap use and check official channels for real-time updates.
