Sedapal Schedules Rolling Water Outages in Lima Through Oct. 15, Adds San Juan de Lurigancho Cut

Reservoir cleaning plus valve works aim to improve distribution, with tanker supply planned at key points.

  • For Wednesday, Oct. 15, Sector 417 of San Juan de Lurigancho will be without potable water from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., covering dozens of neighborhoods listed by the utility.
  • For Tuesday, Oct. 14, planned suspensions of up to 11 hours will affect areas of Rímac, San Martín de Porres, Santiago de Surco, Callao, San Juan de Lurigancho, El Agustino, Villa María del Triunfo and Villa El Salvador, with Surco restoration slated around 11:00 p.m.
  • For Monday, Oct. 13, works include reservoir cleaning in Pachacamac from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and in parts of San Juan de Lurigancho from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • The utility says these interruptions support reservoir disinfection, maintenance and valve changes, with service returning progressively as tasks conclude in each zone.
