- Sedapal carried out the programmed interruptions it announced for Friday, July 17, and has active, published schedules for further cuts on Saturday and Sunday, July 18–19.
- The weekend program includes sector-specific suspensions with published start and restoration times for dozens of neighborhoods and some planned outages that may run up to about 16 hours.
- Residents can check whether their supply is affected by entering their supply number on Sedapal’s online portal and should not assume whole districts are offline because the cuts target defined sectors.
- To reduce disruption Sedapal is routing water tanker trucks to the most affected zones and operating the Aquafono helpline at (01) 317-8000 for restoration queries using a customer’s supply number.
- Households are advised to store water before their listed start time and expect short-term inconvenience while the utility completes reservoir cleaning and pipe empalmes aimed at improving long-term reliability.
