Security Vendors Integrate Claude Compliance API to Extend Identity and Data Controls

Security vendors are linking Claude Enterprise into existing controls to give companies direct visibility over sensitive data.

Overview

  • SailPoint, Cyera and Wiz announced integrations on May 21, 2026 that use Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API to bring Claude conversations, uploads, projects and agent activity into their security platforms.
  • The integrations differ by availability: SailPoint says its connector is available now, Cyera says its Omni DLP support is available immediately with sub-30-minute deployment, and Wiz is offering the feature in Private Preview.
  • Each vendor maps Claude activity into existing controls so teams can detect PII, PHI, financial records and proprietary data inside prompts and uploads and create audit-ready logs of who accessed what and when.
  • The tools also extend identity controls to non-human actors by discovering AI agents, API keys, projects and role bindings so organizations can apply access policies and track permissions across AI workflows.
  • The announcements aim to speed safer AI adoption by folding Claude into familiar security workflows, but real protection will depend on how deeply companies deploy the connectors and how they tune policies and monitoring.
