• Her headless body was discovered on June 4 hidden in a suitcase near an abandoned farmhouse in Montecani with her burned head found later in a nearby field.
• Vasile Frumuzache, 32, was arrested shortly after and confessed to suffocating and decapitating Paun.
• He disposed of her head by setting it on fire with gasoline in a garden the day after the killing.
• Investigators used CCTV footage of him entering Paun’s hotel room and GPS data from his car to trace his movements.
