Security Forces Tighten Search for Fleeing Jaish Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir

A large-scale search operation is ongoing in the Sanyal area of Kathua district after suspected Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists fled following an encounter with security forces.
Security forces have recovered M4 carbine magazines, grenades, explosives, and food supplies, indicating the terrorists abandoned their positions after initial engagement.
The operation, involving the Army, BSF, CRPF, and local police, is being led on the ground by Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, utilizing drones, sniffer dogs, and commandos.
The infiltration of two groups of five to six terrorists from Pakistan was reported on March 22, with local residents playing a crucial role in alerting authorities.
No fresh gunfire has been reported since March 24, but the area remains under tight security as efforts to locate the suspects intensify.
