  • On May 27, around 30 armed Maoists intercepted a truck in Sundargarh district and looted nearly four tonnes of commercial-grade gelatin sticks intended for a stone quarry
  • Security personnel from Odisha Police, CRPF and Jharkhand teams engaged insurgents in a fierce firefight on May 30 inside a dense forest near Tirilposh on the Odisha-Jharkhand border
  • About 200 packets of explosives and other incriminating materials were recovered and secured following coordinated combing operations
