A 21-year-old former hotel employee, Ezequiel David Pereyra, surrendered to police after being charged with supplying cocaine to Payne before his death.

Three additional individuals, including Payne's representative, the hotel manager, and the head receptionist, have been charged with manslaughter for alleged negligence leading to his death.
