  • Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, was charged on July 26 with raping a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton’s Cheveral Street area and has been remanded in custody.
  • On August 2, Mohammad Kabir, 23, was charged with kidnapping, strangulation and aiding and abetting the rape of the 12-year-old and remanded ahead of crown court hearings.
  • Warwickshire Police have issued an updated appeal for anyone in the Cheveral Street area between 8:30pm and 9:45pm on July 22 to come forward with information and say they do not believe any further suspects are involved.
