Second Escaped Inmate from Bibb County Detention Center Arrested; Two Remaining Inmates Still on the Run

  • Marc Kerry Anderson, the second inmate to be recaptured after escape from Bibb County Detention Center, was apprehended in an Atlanta apartment building; he was initially held on charges of aggravated assault.
  • Tymesha Timely was arrested for allegedly hindering Anderson’s capture and is charged with aiding or permitting another to escape lawful custody or confinement and hindering the apprehension or punishment of a criminal.
  • The first inmate to be captured was Chavis Demaryo Stokes, leaving Joey Fournier, accused of murder, and Johnifer Dernard Barnwell, accused of drug offenses, still at large.
  • The escape was facilitated through a damaged window and a cut in a fence, aided by an unidentified driver of a blue Dodge Challenger seen in the parking lot near the fence.
  • A total of $73,000 in rewards is being offered for information leading to the capture of the remaining inmates, provided by the FBI in Atlanta, the Bibb County Sherrif’s Office, the US Marshals Service, and the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
