The newborn, born to mother Effie on February 8, joins a sibling born just three and a half weeks earlier, both fathered by the zoo's silverback, Kiburi.
Effie's delivery was complicated as the baby was born wrapped in its umbilical cord, but no issues arose, and the baby is healthy.
The births are part of London Zoo's conservation breeding program, aimed at preserving a genetically diverse and healthy population of western lowland gorillas.
