Overview

• Officers responded at 2:31 a.m. Sunday to Secaucus Road and County Avenue after reports that more than 100 vehicles had taken over the intersection for reckless driving and donuts.
• At least 50 people surrounded marked police SUVs, with some climbing onto the vehicles and causing damage, according to the department.
• People in the crowd shot fireworks at and under police vehicles, and officials reported no officer injuries.
