Sebastian Stan, known for his role as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has confirmed his return to the franchise in the upcoming film 'Thunderbolts'.
The film, directed by Jake Schreier, is set to begin production next month and is part of the MCU's Phase Six.
'Thunderbolts' will feature a cast of anti-heroes and villains from the MCU, including Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent.
Stan expressed his excitement about returning to the MCU and praised the cast of 'Thunderbolts'.
The film is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025.
