Seattle Storm Reunite with Katie Lou Samuelson on One-Year Deal

The 27-year-old forward returns to Seattle after parting ways with the Indiana Fever earlier this month.

Katie Lou Samuelson has signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Storm, as confirmed by her agent Lindsay Kagawa Colas.
Samuelson, who previously played for Seattle in 2021, mutually agreed to a buyout with the Indiana Fever earlier this month after a reduced role last season.
The forward averaged 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 37 games for the Fever in 2024, following her return from maternity leave.
Seattle has been reshaping its roster this offseason, adding Samuelson alongside other signings like Alysha Clark and Lexie Brown while trading Jewell Loyd for draft assets.
Samuelson provides depth and shooting to a Storm team aiming to contend in the upcoming WNBA season after a first-round playoff exit last year.
