WalletHub's study, based on economic indicators, fun and recreation factors, and dating opportunities, ranks Brownsville, Warwick, and Columbia as the worst cities for singles.

• Seattle, Las Vegas, and Denver were rated the best cities for singles, according to a study conducted by WalletHub.
• The study compared more than 182 US cities across 35 key indicators of dating-friendliness.
• Factors for determining the best city for singles included economic indicators like restaurant-meal costs, fun and recreation factors including nightlife options per capita and dating opportunities such as Google search traffic for the term “Tinder.”
• Brownsville, Texas, Warwick, Rhode Island and Columbia, Maryland were ranked some of the lowest.
• Nearly 47% of the adult population in the US is unmarried, and 57% of those adults aren't interested in dating.
