Search Underway for Three Missing American Sailors After Departing Mexico

Mexican navy and U.S. Coast Guard are searching for three missing U.S. men who were sailing in the Pacific near Mazatlan in western Mexico
The men were experienced sailors aboard a 44-foot La Fitte sailboat called Ocean Bound en route to San Diego from Mazatlán, Mexico via Cabo San Lucas but never arrived in Cabo San Lucas.
They had planned to stop in Cabo San Lucas on April 6 but there is no record of their arrival or location.
The search coordinators have contacted marinas in Baja California but there were no sightings of the vessel.
The sailors have a collective 90 years of sailing experience and were last seen in less than ideal weather conditions
