Overview

  • Allen Larand Fischer, 13, and his sister Rachelle Leray Fischer, 15, were reported missing from Monteview, Idaho, on June 22 after they failed to return from a nearby shop where they went online.
  • Their mother, Elizabeth Roundy, a former FLDS member who obtained full custody in 2021, believes church followers acted on a 2022 Warren Jeffs revelation calling for ex-members’ children to return to the Fundamentalist Latter-day Saints sect.
  • The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued an Amber Alert on June 23 and noted the siblings, last seen in traditional FLDS attire, may have willingly travelled to Trenton, Utah, due to religious beliefs.
  • Their 18-year-old sister, Elintra Dee Fischer, similarly disappeared in January 2023 under related circumstances and remains unlocated.
  • The Uvalde Foundation for Kids is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the teens’ safe return, and authorities are urging callers to reach the sheriff’s office at 208-745-9210, option 7.
