Search Underway for 20-Year-Old Man Who Jumped from Cruise Ship

The U.S. Coast Guard is leading a search operation for a young man who leaped overboard near the Bahamas, witnessed by his family.

A 20-year-old man jumped off the Liberty of the Seas cruise ship, operated by Royal Caribbean, early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred while the ship was sailing between Cuba and the Bahamas, approximately 57 miles off Great Inagua.
Witnesses, including the man's father and brother, described the act as impulsive. The man was reported to have been intoxicated.
The U.S. Coast Guard, alongside the ship's crew, immediately launched a search and rescue operation.
Royal Caribbean is providing support to the man's family during this difficult time, while the search for the man continues.
