Search Underway at Magic Kingdom After 'Missing Endangered Person' Call

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office logged a 911 call at 1:24 p.m. Monday reporting a “missing endangered person” at Magic Kingdom Park.
Local law enforcement and search teams responded to the park and were conducting an active search through the afternoon.
A law-enforcement scanner account posted a Google Maps screenshot that pinpointed a backstage area behind the Be Our Guest restaurant in Fantasyland.
As of the afternoon, neither the Orange County Sheriff’s Office nor Walt Disney World had identified the person or explained the reason for the “endangered” label.
Guests were advised to continue plans, avoid blocked areas, follow directions from security or police, and expect public updates only if authorities need help or the person is found.
