Firefighters are using drones, dogs and an aircraft after a tracking app stopped showing Antônio Petraglia’s location on Sunday.

  • The fire department was alerted around 8 p.m. via the Humaitá station and continued search operations through the night into Monday morning.
  • More than 20 firefighters are deployed with thermal-imaging drones, canine teams, an aircraft and the maritime unit scanning the coastline and sea.
  • Teams report five ground sweeps and five aerial overflights across the trail network, forested areas, bifurcations and secondary access points.
