  • A sudden storm on Friday dumped more than a foot of rain on the Guadalupe River watershed, causing an unprecedented 22-foot surge that swept through Camp Mystic’s cabins.
  • Officials have confirmed at least 80 fatalities, including five girls aged 8–9 and camp owner Dick Eastland, with the count expected to rise.
