Search Intensifies for Missing 2-Year-Old Oregon Boy Last Seen in Front Yard

Dane Paulsen, described as friendly and fearless, disappeared Saturday near his home north of Siletz, prompting a large-scale search involving law enforcement and community volunteers.

Dane Paulsen, a 2-year-old boy, was last seen playing in the front yard of his rural Oregon home around 4:25 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2025.
Authorities have searched 382 acres and 283 miles, utilizing drones, K9 units, divers, and watercraft, with over 140 volunteers assisting in the effort.
The boy, described as friendly and drawn to water and vehicles, cannot swim, leading search efforts to focus on nearby rivers and creeks, including the Siletz River.
A vehicle and driver initially identified as potential leads have been ruled out as points of interest, and there is no evidence of foul play at this time.
