• The search effort began Monday at 9 a.m. when Naperville Police and the Emergency Management Agency joined Forest Preserve District staff and Illinois State Police at the preserve
• About 30 to 40 trained volunteers accompanied by K9 units are methodically combing trails, parking areas and wooded sections
• Authorities describe Olasinmibo “Sinmi” Abosede as a medically vulnerable 46-year-old and say they do not suspect foul play in her disappearance
• The preserve and its parking lots remain open, with officials asking visitors to steer clear of search operations
• Anyone with information on Abosede’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the Naperville Police Investigations Division at 630-548-1421
