Tayla Spies, a 29-year-old mother, was last seen on February 2 driving her white 2017 Toyota Hilux in Surat, Queensland.
CCTV footage captured her movements at 11:10am in Surat, and her phone last pinged a tower in Yuleba South about an hour later before going silent.
Police describe the search area as vast, covering 9,000 square kilometres, and admit they have no clear starting point in the investigation.
Tayla’s family has issued emotional public pleas, urging her to make contact if she is safe or for anyone with information to come forward.
Authorities are asking farmers and landholders in the region to check their properties for signs of Tayla or her vehicle, which remains missing.
