Nazari separated from his friends to take photographs and failed to arrive at the Geehi campground as planned, prompting an extensive search effort.
The search involves multiple agencies, including police, SES, and National Parks and Wildlife Service, with helicopters and infra-red technology deployed in the challenging terrain.
Nazari was carrying camping gear and water, but concerns remain about his limited food supply, lack of a personal locator beacon, and potential threats from wildlife in the remote area.
His sister, Zahra Nazari, has made emotional appeals for his safe return, describing the situation as the greatest trauma of her life and urging for continued search efforts.
