• Matthias Beutin, 57, was last seen at the Blaven car park around 11:30am on Thursday after planning to climb Bla Bheinn.
• Skye Mountain Rescue reported on Saturday evening that there was still no sign of him after another full day of searches.
• Volunteers were joined by Search & Rescue Dog Association (Scotland), Kintail Mountain Rescue, RAF Mountain Rescue, and a coastguard helicopter.
• Teams continue to work across rugged ground and poor visibility as the multi-agency operation expands around Loch Slapin.
• Police Scotland asked the public to call 101 quoting reference 2588 of October 9 and noted he wore a blue waterproof jacket, brown waterproof trousers, dark brown Meindl trekking shoes, and a small black and orange backpack.
