- The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office identified the missing man as Vincent Upton, and his pickup was located downstream without him.
- A neighbor who found the vehicle reported the windshield appeared kicked out and said clothing and the truck’s hood were discovered farther along the wash.
- According to local reports, Upton phoned his wife to say he was being swept away before the call cut off.
- Search teams on the ground and in the air have found no sign of Upton, and authorities are requesting tips to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
