Search Continues for Missing Man After Thames Boat Capsizes

A man in his 60s remains missing after a rowing boat carrying six people capsized near Sunbury Lock on Friday morning.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident at Sunbury Lock, near Wheatleys Eyot, at approximately 8:50 AM on Friday.
Five adults were rescued from the water, and three of them were taken to the hospital for further checks.
Surrey Police, along with fire and rescue services and the coastguard, are actively searching for the missing man.
Authorities have stated there are no suspicious circumstances or third-party involvement in the incident.
Local residents have been advised to avoid the area as search efforts continue.
