Search Continues for 11-Year-Old Boy Swept into Sea on NSW Central Coast

Emergency services were alerted at 5:15 PM on Sunday after the boy was swept away while crossing The Entrance channel with his family.
Despite attempts by the boy's father to rescue him, the child was lost in rough sea conditions.
A large-scale search operation involving local police, surf lifesavers, and rescue helicopters was launched but suspended at dark.
The search resumed at 8 AM on Monday, with jet skis and relatives searching the area.
The boy's family, who are from a non-English-speaking background, remain distraught as the search continues.
