• Quarterback Max Huston, wide receiver Bryer Finley and defensive lineman Kaden Jordan were selected to the East squad alongside assistant coach Jared Swafford.
• The team wrapped up its week of practice at Ottawa University ahead of the 7 p.m. kickoff at Dodge City’s Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
• Hospital Experience Day brought both East and West players to spend time with Shriners Hospital patients as part of the event’s charitable mission.
• Huston plans to attend Coffeyville Community College and Jordan has committed to Hutchinson Community College, while Finley remains undecided on his college choice or athletic path.
• Washburn Rural offensive lineman Caden Estrada will also represent Shawnee County on the East team before joining Emporia State this fall.
