The commercial promotes Mountain Dew's Baja Blast flavor and includes a whimsical storyline featuring Becky G and the brand's mascot, Mountain Dude.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi, the ad features surreal elements like singing seals, erupting volcanoes, and playful lyrics tied to the brand.
This is Mountain Dew’s seventh Super Bowl appearance and the second consecutive year spotlighting Baja Blast, following last year's ad with Aubrey Plaza and Nick Offerman.
The 30-second spot will air during the second quarter of the Super Bowl on February 9, with additional brand activations in New Orleans leading up to the game.
