Seahawks' Joey Hunt Fined for Sideline Altercation

Hunt, misidentified as a 'staff member', fined $1,610 for unsportsmanlike conduct during game against Eagles

Seattle Seahawks practice squad center Joey Hunt was fined $1,610 by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct during a sideline altercation with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown.
The altercation occurred during the Seahawks' victory over the Eagles in Week 15, and was initially misidentified by ESPN announcer Joe Buck as involving a 'staff member of the Seahawks'.
The usual fine for unsportsmanlike conduct is upwards of $13,659 as a first offense, but Hunt's fine was pro-rated due to his status as a practice squad member.
In a humorous response to the misidentification, Hunt wore a 'STAFFER' jersey to practice, and the Seahawks' official Twitter account posted photos of Hunt in the jersey, referencing the 1985 film, The Breakfast Club.
The incident drew comparisons to a Week 13 altercation between San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw and the Eagles' head of security, Dom DiSandro, who was ejected and barred from Philadelphia's sideline for the remainder of the regular season.
