Overview

• A coordination meeting assigned roles under Secunderabad DRM Dr. R. Gopalakrishnan and Hyderabad’s Santosh Verma, with RPF Divisional Security Commissioner Alakunta Naveen Kumar coordinating.
• RPF and GRP will intensify patrolling, conduct frisking and anti-sabotage checks, and maintain strict vigil at restricted zones and other vulnerable points.
• Local police will support crowd dispersal and law-and-order duties as traffic police manage vehicle flow, enforce no-parking rules, and mark dedicated lanes for autos, cabs, and buses.
• TGSRTC plans additional bus services during peak hours and late nights, will deploy staff at bus bays to guide passengers, and will divert buses to less congested station sides.
• Measures target heavy footfall at Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Cherlapalli, Lingampalli, and Kacheguda, with attention to choke points such as Secunderabad’s platform 10 side, Cherlapalli’s platform one entry road, and the Kacheguda temple approach.
