SCR aims to ease festival crush by redirecting passengers to suburban halts with reinforced staffing plus 24x7 oversight.

Overview

  • Temporary halts cover 16 trains at Hi‑Tech City and 11 at Cherlapalli from January 7 to 20, with 10 trains stopping at Lingampalli through April 30.
  • Expected daily footfall is about 2.20 lakh at Secunderabad, 50,000 at Lingampalli, and 35,000 at Cherlapalli during the festival period.
  • Extra TTEs and RPF personnel are posted at entry and exit points, a dedicated CCTV control room is functional, and a divisional war room is operating around the clock.
  • At Secunderabad, the Bhoiguda entrance access control has been lifted with basement parking advised, and parking is reported as temporarily suspended during redevelopment with limited pick‑up and drop‑off at Platform 1.
  • Secunderabad has 17 booking counters and 20 ATVMs in service, and a 3% discount on unreserved tickets via the RailOne app using digital payments runs from January 14 to July 14.
