Scottsdale Unified Locksmith Arrested on Child Exploitation Charges After NCMEC Tip

A judge set a $250,000 cash-only bond with a preliminary hearing on Nov. 5.

Overview

  • Peoria police booked Dominick Le Beau, 22, on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, three counts tied to child sex dolls, and one count of endangerment.
  • Detectives say a 2024 cybertip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children from a social media provider’s report of attempted uploads of suspected CSAM led to the case.
  • During an Oct. 27 search, officers reported two handguns with magazines inserted within reach of a young child and two sex toys in Le Beau’s bedroom, one described as infant-sized.
  • Investigators conducting surveillance said they saw a girl dropped off at Le Beau’s home before making contact and taking him into custody.
  • Scottsdale Unified says Le Beau worked as a locksmith without direct student contact, has been removed from duties, and there is no indication district students were involved.
