Scottie Barnes of the Toronto Raptors and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks have been named as injury replacements for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
Barnes is making his first All-Star appearance, while Young is returning for his third.
They replace injured players Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers and Julius Randle of the New York Knicks.
Barnes is averaging 20.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists this season, joining Giannis Antetokounmpo as the only players with at least 1,000 points, 400 rebounds, 250 assists, 50 blocks, and 50 steals.
Young, averaging 27.3 points and 10.9 assists, was notably snubbed in the initial All-Star selections despite high fan voting results.
