'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off': Netflix Launches Anime Series with Original Film Cast

The series, co-created by Bryan Lee O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski, features new material and began streaming on November 17, 2023.

Netflix has released a new anime series titled 'Scott Pilgrim Takes Off', based on the popular 'Scott Pilgrim' graphic novels by Bryan Lee O’Malley.
The series reunites most of the original cast from the 2010 live-action film 'Scott Pilgrim vs. the World', including Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, and Brandon Routh.
The anime series, co-created by O’Malley and writer-director BenDavid Grabinski, features new material not seen in the original movie or comics.
Edgar Wright, the director of the original film, played a key role in bringing the original cast back together for the anime series.
The series began streaming on Netflix on November 17, 2023.
