Scores Arrested in Second Weekend of Pro-Palestine Action Protests

Campaigners coordinated by Defend Our Juries held silent sit-ins across major cities following the courts’ decision to uphold the group’s terrorist designation.

  • More than 110 supporters have been arrested nationwide since July 4 for expressing support under Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
  • Metropolitan Police detained 42 people at Parliament Square in London for silently holding signs reading “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.”
